Project Focus: House Style Guide

The Youth Sport Trust is a registered charity which has been actively engaged in producing educational sporting programmes since 1994. The programmes are delivered through schools and supported by a range of corporate partners, trusts and foundations plus government departments.

Our Project Focus falls on the recently completed House Style guide which we were invited to develop and produce in collaboration with the Corporate Communications team and copywriter, Louise Yeoell.

The Youth Sport Trust’s work encompasses many channels, communicating with everyone from young people to government ministers to the media. Accordingly in order to achieve this, they produce a wide range of resources and publications in print, electronically and via the web.

The guide is broken down into five, succinctly written sections, covering everything from abbreviations to writing for the web; helping answer common questions, standardise style, provide guidance and clarification plus promotion of clear and accessible communications in an easy to understand style.
